Anyone hoping to get their hands on a new Razer Blade gaming laptop before the end of the year. Is going to be disappointed to learn, that Razer has now had to postpone the scheduled launch date for their new Blade laptop after hardware changes.
Towards the end of the development of the laptop Razer decided to upgrade the 320GB hard drive included in the Blade laptop to a lovely sparkling 256Gb solid state drive. But unfortunately the company has now run into a few problems trying to source the new SSDs for inclusion and launch before the holiday period.
Razer CEO explained on their Facebook page:
“And now, the bad news. Because we managed to upgrade the HDD to an SSD at the eleventh hour, we were only able to secure quantities of the new SSDs to arrive at our manufacturing facilities at the last minute and as a result, we will not be able to fulfil our initial launch orders of the Razer Blade before the holidays.”
Razer now hopes to ship initial quantities of their Razer Blade gaming laptop, in mid to late January for our customers in North America. But will try to bring that date forward if possible.
